Idun & Bylgja

Norse Idun and Bylgja are two playful hard chine sea kayaks built on the same design philosophy.
Both have a hard chine that doesn't fear tough sea conditions, while still being playful and easy to handle. The V-shaped hull keeps speed and course stability up, and a firm skeg gives reliable tracking. The keel is reinforced with aramid all the way through, and the chines are reinforced too, to take a beating. Both have a day hatch behind the cockpit and bulkheads fore and aft for dry storage.
Idun suits lighter paddlers looking for an agile kayak, while Bylgja offers more volume and capacity for longer trips and heavier loads.
The names come from Norse mythology. Idun is the goddess who supplies the gods with the apples of youth. Bylgja is one of the waves of the sea, daughter of the sea rulers Ægir and Ran.

Ask & Embla

Norse Ask and Embla are two performance-oriented sea kayaks built on the same design platform, with a double hard chine hull optimized for speed and maneuverability.
The hull is optimized for speed while remaining highly maneuverable thanks to the double hard chine. The crisp handling characteristics help beginners unlock more advanced technique, while still giving experienced paddlers the responsive, agile feel they're after.
Both kayaks are designed to be an extension of the body, the interface between the paddler and the ever changing sea. Embla suits smaller paddlers, while Ask offers the same design characteristics in a larger package for bigger paddlers.
The names come from Norse mythology. Odin and his brothers found two pieces of driftwood shaped like a man and a woman, breathed life into them, and named them Ask and Embla.
Ask and Embla are designed by Danish kayak designer Jesper Kromann-Andersen,.

Freya & Ymir

Norse Freyja and Ymir share the same long waterline, V-shaped hull and rudder system, but are tuned for two very different paddlers.
The long waterline combined with the V-shaped hull gives both kayaks excellent speed and tracking, letting them hold a straight course with ease without sacrificing stability. Both have a rudder system for added control, and three sealed compartments (two bulkheads plus a day hatch), each with an easy-to-open watertight hatch for safe, dry storage.
Freyja is built for smaller paddlers, with a comfortable seat and adjustable backrest that keep long days on the water enjoyable. Ymir is the larger sibling, with a higher deck and greater load capacity for paddlers who need more room or want to carry extra gear.
The names come from Norse mythology. Freyja, wife of Odin, was the goddess of fertility and love, consulted in matters of love, pregnancy and childbirth. She held power over growth in nature, but could also be a fierce warrior when needed. Ymir was one of the four ancestors of the jötnar, born when fire and ice met. He was killed by Odin and his brothers, and from his body they made the earth where humans live.

Eir & Heimdall
Norse Eir and Heimdall are day touring kayaks with a rudder system, built for stability and confidence on shorter trips.
Both are very stable and ideal for paddlers who want a confidence-inspiring kayak, whether they're building skills or out for a leisurely paddle. They're built with the same superior quality as the full-size Norse sea kayaks, and rigged with the same features: safety lines, bungee cords and two watertight bulkheads for secure, dry storage.
Eir is designed for smaller paddlers, while Heimdall offers the same design characteristics in a larger package for bigger paddlers.
The names come from Norse mythology. Eir is a Valkyrie and the Norse goddess of healing. Heimdall was the guardian of the rainbow bridge between Asgard and Midgard, the road to the gods.

Duva

Norse Duva is an approachable sea kayak with a soft chine and rudder system, built for a steady, confidence-inspiring ride.
Duva is known for its excellent tracking, holding a straight course with minimal effort, while the soft chine keeps it stable and easy to handle in varying conditions. This makes it a great choice both for paddlers just getting started and for experienced touring paddlers who want a reliable companion.
Comfort is part of the design too, with an adjustable backrest and a comfortable seat for long days on the water. Two bulkheads give ample storage for gear on longer trips, and add buoyancy and compartmentalization for safety.
The name comes from Norse mythology. Duva was one of Ægir and Ran's nine daughters, the rulers of the sea, and she was the calm, good wave.
